CCF launches new online portal

March 23, 2026

As of 9:00 GMT on 26 March 2026, all requests to INTERPOL’s Commission for the Control of INTERPOL’s Files (CCF) must be submitted exclusively through a new secure online portal.

The portal allows applicants or their authorised representatives to:

    • submit requests for access, correction, or deletion of personal data;
    • submit applications for revision of a CCF decision;
    • track the status of their requests;
    • access all communications and documents exchanged with the CCF; and
    • consult CCF decisions relating to their requests.

From this date, the portal becomes the sole submission channel. Email or postal submissions will no longer be accepted, except in exceptional circumstances under Rule 25(1) of the CCF Operating Rules[1].

For ongoing matters, applicants will continue receiving email updates for now. The CCF may migrate existing cases to the portal, and applicants will be informed if this occurs. The portal provides guidance on required documentation and includes a special assistance form for technical issues. Additional guidance, including for ongoing requests, will be provided in due course.

[1] As noted in the Operating Rules; “the requests and any supporting documents shall be sent to the CCF electronically in acceptable formats. In exceptional cases, the Commission may accept documents submitted by postal mail.”
