Louisa Keech – Associate
I joined the firm in 2022, starting in Business Crime before moving to Fraud & Commercial Disputes. During my training, I worked on high-profile matters, including sanctions cases involving overseas lawyers and the FCDO and high-profile Commercial Court litigation, and I had lots of opportunities to go to Court. People here are leaders in their field and genuinely friendly and supportive. No question is too small, and they understand trainees are learning.
Direct contact with clients, barristers and other firms means you develop strong interpersonal skills quickly. In one client meeting, I saw how a partner put a nervous client completely at ease, which was a great lesson in communication beyond pure legal work.
The firm is also very sociable. With around 65 lawyers, it’s easy to get to know everyone, and there are regular events and after-work drinks. It’s a small, specialised, and fun place to work.
