Peters & Peters

Our values

Everyone working at Peters & Peters knows that we have a wider purpose.  As a responsible business, our commitment to justice goes beyond supporting our clients –  it means creating an inclusive working environment ensuring all our people are valued as individuals and treated fairly; it means supporting those in need in our local communities and it means seeking to minimise our environmental impact.

Our people are the beating heart of our business and we are committed to ensuring that everyone is able to thrive regardless of age, ethnicity, belief, sex and gender, gender identity, disability or sexual orientation. Everyone brings something unique and we actively embrace and celebrate that.

Our social purpose is to support disadvantaged people in our local communities and to provide access to justice. We volunteer, fund raise and give our time and practical support to local charities working on a range of causes.  We share our extensive legal expertise through our pro bono programmes, giving free legal advice to those in need.
We care deeply about the environment and in our day to day operations, we seek to minimise our emissions, to reduce the waste we generate and use recycled materials wherever possible.
As the firm’s Managing Partner, I am clear that our commitment to our wider purpose as a responsible business begins with me and with each of my fellow partners; but it is truly a shared commitment.  Every one of us knows they have a part to play and that sense of ownership shines through in how we conduct ourselves each day for the benefit of our colleagues, our communities and the world around us. Yes, we exist to serve our clients by providing first class legal advice; but alongside that, it is our wider purpose that makes us who we are.
