The firm has been rated in Band 1 in the Chambers’ Financial Crime: High Net Worth Individuals guide, which ranks leading law firms and lawyers for international private wealth.

The guide also recognised three partners, who were ranked in Band 1 and Band 4, and one Of Counsel as an “Associate to watch”.

One source told Chambers that the firm is known to have “a great bench, tactical thinkers, and high-quality teams across the board,” adding that “High net worth individuals can trust them to get it right”.

Another source said: “They are simply brilliant,” commending the team for its “depth of understanding, practical experience, and the network of contacts”.

Senior Partner Michael O’Kane was ranked in Band 1 and acknowledged for being highly experienced in handling cases related to sanctions, extradition and Financial Conduct Authority investigations. One source commented that they were “impressed by Michael’s ability to react quickly and soundly to changing circumstances”.

Partner Neil Swift was ranked in Band 4. The guide mentioned that Neil “acts for high net worth individuals on domestic and international matters in the financial crime world and that he is highly regarded by market sources”. One interviewee asserted that “Neil is our go-to guy for white-collar crime. In our opinion he is best in class”.

Partner and Head of Business Crime Nick Vamos was ranked in Band 4, with the guide mentioning that Nick “regularly acts for high net worth clients on domestic and international financial crime investigations and that he is noted for his work on high-value and high-profile matters”.

Of Counsel Rachel Cook, who “acts for high-profile and affluent clients on financial crime matters, including white-collar crime investigations”, was ranked under “Associates to watch”.
