Jonathan is Peters & Peters’ Head of Commercial Litigation and Civil Fraud. Jonathan has over 30 years of specialist experience focused on complex international and commercial disputes, civil fraud and asset recovery with ground-breaking experience in multi-jurisdictional emergency procedures, including asset freezing and search and seizure orders.

Jonathan leads the team acting for the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care in a £250 million follow-on damages claim against the French pharmaceutical group, Servier relating to the drug Perindopril.

Jonathan leads the team in acting for the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care in the follow-on damages claim against Lundbeck and other pharmaceutical companies in the Competition Appeals Tribunal (CAT) relating to the drug citalopram.

Acting for a group of claimants, including former sports professionals, in claims regarding large losses arising from tax-leveraged film schemes promoted by Ingenious Media.

Acting for a high net worth (Nebahat İşbilen) in fraud and asset recovery claims against her former financial advisor for alleged misappropriation and fraud for sums in excess of £40 miliion. The case has been widely reported in the international press.

Representing a global manufacturing company which was a defendant in a multi-million pound follow-on competition damages action commenced on the basis of the European Commission’s findings in relation to a cartel operating in the European market.
