What you’ll experience
As a Peters & Peter’s trainee you will have the opportunity to carry out two dedicated litigation seats and a third distinct area of your choice through an external secondment. Each trainee shares an office with a partner or senior lawyer to maximise on-the-job learning. You will also be supported by a mentor, a dedicated supervisor, and a buddy to guide you through your development. Comprehensive training, ongoing feedback, and regular development reviews ensure that you are supported every step of the way.
What we look for
We seek trainees who are tenacious, driven and committed to a steep learning curve. You will benefit from early responsibility, high-quality work, and a supportive environment. Strong communication skills, resilience, teamwork, commercial awareness, enthusiasm, proactivity, and a sense of humour are all essential. We recruit from a wide range of universities, welcoming both law and non-law graduates with a degree at 2.1 level or above who can handle complex legal issues and technical drafting.
