Key Facts:

Singapore’s advertising watchdog is reported to have upheld complaints in relation to VietJet’s “Green Friday” promotional campaign. It found the use of terms like “eco-friendly” and “fuel-efficient” in relation to its Airbus A320 fleet to be misleading on the grounds that the A320 only represented a part of the fleet, and the phrase “eco-friendly” was too vague.

Vietjet removed the adverts on Green Friday in Singapore.
