Sabrin Fetih


Trainee Solicitor

Sabrin is currently a Trainee in our Business Crime & Investigations department.

Sabrin works on a wide variety of matters including sanctions advice and litigation, corporate criminal liability, money laundering, INTERPOL and general crime matters.

Before joining Peters & Peters, Sabrin worked as a judicial assistant (JA) to the Vice President of the Court of Appeal (England and Wales) Civil Division.

Sabrin worked on numerous high-profile cases that covered a variety of legal areas, including judicial review, commercial law, company law, civil procedure, human rights, and EU law.

The commercial cases she worked on as a JA include Municipio de Mariana v BHP Group (UK) Ltd (formerly BHP Group Plc) [2022] EWCA Civ 951, an appeal by more than 200,000 claimants (including individuals, municipalities, indigenous communities and businesses) against BHP for damage arising out of the 2015 Fundão dam collapse in Brazil.

The judicial review cases Sabrin worked on as a JA include R (MD) v Secretary of State for the Home Department [2022] EWCA Civ 336 (relating to the financial support available to victims of human trafficking) and R (Open Rights Group) v Secretary of State for the Home Department [2021] EWCA Civ 800 (concerning the lawfulness of a data protection exemption).

Sabrin received a first-class honours degree in Law and European Legal Studies from King’s College London. She then undertook the Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) at the University of Oxford, and a Master of Laws (LLM) at the University of Law.
