Sabrin Fetih, LL. M., BCL (Oxon)
Sabrin is an Associate in our Civil and Commercial Disputes department.
Her work involves multi-jurisdictional and high value commercial litigation and arbitration with a focus on civil fraud and allegations of dishonesty, such as in the context of breach of contract, money laundering and the misappropriation of assets, as well as civil and criminal freezing orders and associated urgent relief.
Before joining Peters & Peters, Sabrin worked as a judicial assistant (JA) to the Vice President of the Court of Appeal (England and Wales) Civil Division. In this role, Sabrin worked on numerous high-profile cases that covered a variety of legal areas, including judicial review, commercial law, company law, civil procedure, and EU law. The cases she worked on as a judicial assistant include Municipio de Mariana v BHP Group (UK) Ltd (formerly BHP Group Plc) [2022] EWCA Civ 951, an action by more than 200,000 claimants against BHP for damage arising out of the 2015 Fundão dam collapse in Brazil.
Sabrin received a first-class honours degree in Law and European Legal Studies from King’s College London, thereafter completing the Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) at the University of Oxford, and a Master of Laws (LLM) at the University of Law.
She is a native speaker of German, Arabic, and English, reflecting her multicultural background and education across Germany, the UAE, Egypt, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands.
