Emmy is a Trainee in the Business Crime Department
Emmy joined the firm as a paralegal. She has worked on two of the firm’s most high-profile cases; as part of the Peters & Peters team acting for a defendant in the landmark SFO prosecution of Barclays and former Barclays executives, and part of the team acting for a large foreign energy company facing corruption allegations, resulting in a long-running dispute across various jurisdictions including two international investment arbitrations and proceedings before the European Court of Justice and European Court of Human Rights. Since starting as a trainee, Emmy has assisted in a range of cases including multiple extraditions, an SFO and FCA investigation, and general crime matters. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a paralegal at a boutique immigration firm.
Emmy has a first class degree in law from Cardiff University and an LLM in International Law and Human Rights from the University of London (SOAS).
