Representation of former managing director in first cartel prosecution for four years

The firm represented Mr Snee, the former managing director of Franklin Hodge Industries. Nigel Snee pleaded guilty to an offence under the Enterprise Act 2002. The maximum sentence in respect of the cartel offence is five years’ imprisonment. However, on 14 September 2015, Mr Snee was sentenced to 6 months’ imprisonment, suspended for 12 months, and ordered to carry out 120 hours community service within 12 months.
