Protection against unwarranted enforcement of a judgment against multiple parties

Following a judgment against multiple parties, the firm was instructed to protect the client’s position against unwarranted enforcement and to bring a claim against the client’s previous advisors. Post judgment applications and the claim against the client’s former advisors involved complicated issues of trust law and the responsibility advisors owe their clients to advise on their fiduciary duties.
