The comfort of a pleasant daily walk and a Netflix binge for solace has become the new normal in the midst of the Covid pandemic. Whilst some of us have been distracted by settling into the new TV series (or seven) others have been left wanting. One quintessentially British aspect of normal life has been conspicuously absent : televised sports – most notably football.
