Peters & Peters Top 10 Litigation Case of 2017
The Lawyer has published its Top 10 Litigation Cases of 2017 and Peters & Peters secures a top spot with its case Ecclestone and Bambino Holdings v Bayerische Landesbank.
This case concerns the controversial sale of Formula 1 to private equity group CVC in 2006, specifically the conduct of Formula One Boss Bernie Ecclestone in making corrupt payments to an Officer of BLB and the conduct of BLB in selling its stake at an alleged undervalue. Peters & Peters Head of International Keith Oliver and associates Emma Ruane and Noah Benjamin Stewart-Ornstein represent German media group Constantin Medien in these proceedings in the continuing Part 20 proceedings.
