Franziska Christen is a newly qualified Associate in the Business Crime Department.
Franziska originally joined Peters & Peters in 2015 as a research assistant to an expert on human rights in criminal proceedings in a large international investment arbitration case. During her training contract, she gained experience across a wide range of white collar, regulatory and general crime matters, including by assisting clients in relation to fraud, forgery and money-laundering charges, FCA investigations, INTERPOL red notices and extradition proceedings.
Prior to coming to the firm, Franziska completed internships with the Swiss Mission to the European Union in Brussels and Amnesty International’s United Nations Office in Geneva. She graduated with a first class degree in History from King’s College London and took a Masters degree at Oxford before studying law.
Franziska is a native German speaker. She also speaks intermediate French and basic Spanish.
