Associate

An associate in our Business Crime & Investigations team, Dominic has experience in a variety of white collar crime and regulatory matters.

Dominic joined the firm in 2019, having trained and qualified at an international City law firm.

He specialises in advising clients facing domestic and international internal, criminal and/or regulatory investigations, including those brought by the Serious Fraud Office (SFO), the Financial Conduct Authority, the Competition and Markets Authority, Ofcom and the Takeover Panel.

Dominic has experience in private prosecutions, recently successfully defending a client from prosecution against a former business partner, which was set against the complex backdrop of worldwide and bitterly fought litigation. He currently acts in respect of the Post Office appeals before the Court of Appeal (Criminal Division), described by many as the most widespread miscarriage of justice in UK history.

Historically, he formed part of the legal team instructed by the Law Society in its intervention in ENRC v SFO in the Court of Appeal. He also attended, on behalf of an interested party, the first three LIBOR trials brought at the Southwark Crown Court by the SFO.
