We are delighted to announce that Cécile Nicod will be speaking at the first session of a series of webinars organised by the UIA (International Association of Lawyers) Business and Human Rights Committee, on 28 April 2021.

This first session will provide an overview of legislation enacted in the UK, France and the United States which seeks to impose a duty on large corporates to publicly report on and take steps to minimise human rights abuses in their operations and supply chains.

Cécile will be giving a presentation on the the UK Modern Slavery Act. She will be exploring the effectiveness of the Act, and the lessons that can be drawn from it. Register here.
