What benefits are available to the first applicant to qualify?
Competition law in the UK is enforced by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), which was formed on 1 April 2014, when the Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Act 2013 merged the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) and the Competition Commission into this new body. Prior to the establishment of the CMA, immunity and leniency guidance (the guidance) was published by the OFT in July 2013. This guidance has been adopted by the CMA (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/leniency-and-no-action-applications-in-cartel-cases).
