Senior Associate

Dan is a Senior Associate in our Business Crime & Investigations team. He has experience acting for corporate and individual clients on enforcement and regulatory proceedings (including actions by the SFO, FCA, Police, NCA and FRC), internal investigations, public inquiries and compliance advice.

Dan’s practice includes matters regarding bribery, money laundering, sanctions, criminal fraud, false accounting, theft, modern slavery, whistleblowing, insider dealing and the anti-facilitation of tax evasion.

Prior to joining Peters & Peters, Dan worked in the Sydney and London offices of Herbert Smith Freehills, in both the criminal and civil litigation teams.

Dan was also previously seconded to the London Financial Crime Compliance team of a tier 1 international investment bank, where he advised in relation to anti-bribery, money laundering and anti-facilitation of tax evasion matters.

He is qualified in Australia (2016) and England and Wales (2021), and holds a Bachelor of Arts (First Class Honours) from the University of Western Australia and a Juris Doctor (First Class Honours) from the Australian National University.
