Alice qualified as a lawyer in New Zealand in 2007 where she practised until March 2016. After relocating to the UK, she joined Peters & Peters in April 2016 as a Paralegal before becoming a Legal Assistant in October 2016.
Alice’s practice in New Zealand included both defending and prosecuting fraud, financial crime and tax crime. She acted for individuals, companies and governmental agencies in a wide range of criminal, quasi-criminal and regulatory offences. She also dealt with general crime matters, including sexual offences, offences of serious violence, organised crime, firearm offences and terrorism. She worked on a number of high profile cases, including those attracting media interest. Alice spent time as a prosecutor in the New Zealand Inland Revenue service, working on cross-border tax prosecutions and asset forfeiture.
Alice is admitted as a barrister and solicitor in New Zealand.
