Sue Bachorski is the firm’s head of Human Resources. A member of the CIPD, with a degree in history of art, Sue began her HR career at the British Council and followed this with HR roles at Ashurst, SJ Berwin and Leigh Day & Co before joining Peters & Peters in 2008.
Working closely with partners and managers, Sue is responsible for all HR matters. She provides advice on developments in employment law, formulates HR policies and procedures and manages resourcing, recruitment and training across the firm.

Jennifer Ross (trainee), Tim Wright (paralegal) and Ramya Jaidev (paralegal) will be contributing to a ‘Speed Networking’ event at the Law Society, part of a training day for mature students – ‘Preparing Mature Students and Career Changers for the Solicitors Profession’. As slightly more ‘mature’ themselves, with former careers in other fields, Jenny, Tim & Ramya will talk to the students about moving into legal work and about their own experience at Peters & Peters.
Thursday 2 March 2017 – Nicholas Querée, an Associate in the Business Crime department and a Sussex graduate, took part in the University’s ‘Careers in Law’ event. A panel event, featuring 6 Sussex graduates who are now working in law, was followed by networking over drinks. Nick spoke about his current work and career story to date.’
Thursday 2 March 2017 – Jason Woodland, a partner in our Commercial Litigation, Civil Fraud and Asset Recovery Department, Noah Stewart-Ornstein (Associate) and Sue Bachorski (Head of HR) have been invited to contribute to the University of Westminster’s ‘Legal Skills Academy’ on Thursday 2 March at 6pm. A P&P team gave a similar talk last year which was very well-received. Jason, Noah & Sue will talk to students about pursuing a legal career and about our work, our trainee recruitment process and other work experience opportunities.
Tuesday 07 March 2017 – Richard Clayman an associate in our Commercial Litigation, Civil Fraud and Asset Recovery Department is taking part in an Employer Panel event at Queen Mary University of London. This event is to help students make informed career choices, Richard will discuss his work experience, his department and the firm as a whole. Start time 18:00, Mile End Rd, London E1 4NS.

Wednesday 25 January 2017 – Jason Woodland will be at the University of Cambridge Postgraduate Pop Up Law event, talking to Postgraduates about life as a trainee solicitor at Peters & Peters.
