Our expert team of paralegals and legal researchers provide highly efficient support to the legal departments.

The majority of our paralegals are on fixed term contracts and we often require people with specific languages skills, such as Russian or Arabic.

As a paralegal you will manage administrative support for hearings and trials, such as agreeing indices, preparing bundles, arranging transcribers and similar logistic tasks. You will draft research memos on a range of issues or take detailed notes at meetings and during conference calls. Excellent communication skills are required, together with strong written and spoken English.

Legal researchers assist partners and other senior lawyers with a range of research tasks, both client and non-client related. As a legal researcher you will help write specialist conference papers and articles. You’ll need a strong academic background – a good first degree and Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL), together with the Legal Practice Course (LPC) or bar qualification. You will also need to demonstrate excellent research, drafting and IT skills, resilience and the ability to work under pressure in a challenging and exciting environment. Previous academic research experience is helpful, as is previous knowledge of our practice areas.

Most of our paralegals and legal researchers have already had some experience of working in a litigation department or at a similar firm.
