Commercial Litigation / Civil Fraud Paralegal
We are currently looking to recruit two Paralegals to join our Commercial Litigation/Civil Fraud Department. Initially this contract will be for six-month period but may be extended, depending on business needs. The ideal candidates will have a very strong academic background (including a law degree or GDL and the LPC or BPTC) with a minimum of six months’ previous paralegal experience gained within a top-tier litigation department. In addition, high attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks along with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
Business Crime Paralegal
We seek an experienced and enthusiastic Paralegal to work on a large-scale, high profile and sensitive criminal investigation within the Business Crime department. The matter involves large volumes of complex documents so the individual must be highly organised, conscientious and confident to cope with challenging deadlines. Experience of being part of a team working with complex and detailed document management, particularly on large litigation matters is ideal. The ideal candidate will have a high level of academic achievement (including a 2:1 degree, plus a commendation (or equivalent) or above in the LPC/BPTC), a keen interest in criminal law and at least six months previous contentious/criminal paralegal experience (ideally in the context of litigation). This contract is offered for an initial six-month period but is likely to be extended, depending on business needs. Ideally the individual would be available for at least a couple of years.
Business Crime Paralegal
A vacancy has arisen for an experienced paralegal to assist the team involved in a leading SFO case within our Business Crime department. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a small team working on a large and high-profile financial crime matter. The ideal candidate would have a very strong academic background (including a minimum 2:1 degree/postgraduate legal qualification and have completed the LPC or BPTC), a keen interest in financial crime and at least six months previous paralegal experience. Initially, this contract will be for a six-month period but may be extended, depending on business needs.
Portuguese Speaking Paralegal
We are looking for an exceptionally able and enthusiastic Portuguese Speaking Paralegal to join our Commercial Litigation/Civil Fraud Department. To be successful in the role it is essential to be fluent in both written and spoken Portuguese as well as highly-organised, conscientious and able to cope under pressure with challenging deadlines. Initially this contract will be for six-month period but may be extended, depending on business needs.
We are seeking an exceptionally able and enthusiastic Legal Researcher to assist our Business Crime Department. The ideal candidate would have a keen interest in (and ideally previous knowledge of) extradition law, a high level of academic achievement (including a 1st or 2:1 at degree level), a proven background in an academic/research role along with experience of using legal databases such as Lexis Nexis, Westlaw and PLC. Initially this contract will be for six-month period but may be extended, depending on business needs.
