Vlad joined Peters & Peters in September 2009 as researcher to Monty Raphael QC. Previously he has held research posts with the Regulation Forum at the British Institute of International and Comparative Law and with the Regulation, Responsibility and the Rule of Law Project at the University of Oxford. He is a doctorate student at the London School of Economics and Political Science where he has also taught on the LLM Corporate Governance Programme. His thesis examines minority shareholders’ rights and remedies in the Russian Federation.
As a result, he has a considerable working and academic knowledge of the following areas of law:
Antitrust;
Corporate governance;
Corruption;
Extradition;
Financial services regulation;
Fraud;
Money laundering.
He also contributed to a number of publications, including: ‘Getting the Deal Through: Anti-Corruption Regulation in 51 jurisdictions 2011’.
