Samantha was called to the Bar in 2003. On completion of pupillage Samantha practised at the Bar in both criminal and civil law later focusing on crime, including international crime (Special Court for Sierra Leone) and extradition. Samantha became a Grade 2 Crown Prosecutor before leaving independent practice.
In 2007 Samantha was seconded to the Extradition Unit of the Crown Prosecution Service where she represented governments and judicial authorities in extradition proceedings and worked closely with both domestic and overseas agencies, including the US Department of Justice in progressing extradition requests.
In 2008 Samantha joined an offshore law firm where she dealt with and advised on a broad range of off-shore litigation matters including substantial breach of trust claims, complex asset tracing claims, multi-million pound claims for injunctive relief and general financial services.
Samantha speaks French and Spanish fluently and in 2005 she won a Pegasus Trust Scholarship placement to a Paris law firm specialising in White Collar Crime.
Samantha has experience of conducting litigation at all levels of Tribunal and as an employed barrister she has full rights of audience in all courts.
