Emma specialises in the resolution of commercial disputes, particularly those cases involving fraud and/or asset tracing.
She has experience of both domestic and multi-jurisdictional disputes, and in obtaining, defending and the supervising of emergency injunctive relief, including freezing and search orders.
Emma joined Peters & Peters in 2005 as a newly qualified Associate in our Commercial Litigation and Civil Fraud department.
Before joining the team, she trained at a City firm where she gained broad experience in a variety of commercial matters. At Peters & Peters Emma has gained specialist experience of civil fraud and, in particular, she has experience of recovering assets, conducting investigations and obtaining and enforcing freezing orders and search orders (including the supervision of search orders), both in the UK, and in support of proceedings worldwide. Many of the cases on which Emma has worked have arisen from fraudulent conduct, including breach of directors’ duties, tracing assets and theft of confidential information.
Emma is responsible for co-ordinating the firm’s Pro Bono activities.
