Telecoms Corporates’ Appeal Against £30 million Repayment Claim Refusal

Peters & Peters acted in an appeal on behalf of a number of UK corporates in the telecoms arena. The appeal was against the refusal to repay them more than £30 million of VAT arising from exports of mobile telephones. The case involved a re-examination of the ’knew of, or should have known that its trading was part of a wider fraud’ test.
