Medical Supplies - Oil for Food

We acted for an international supplier of medical related goods in relation to an SFO investigation into alleged breach of sanctions and contravention of the UN Oil for Food Scheme. Three of the company’s directors and one employee were interviewed under caution. Following negotiations with the SFO, the criminal investigation was discontinued, and our client made a voluntary payment to the UN fund for Iraq.
