Alan Bacarese, Special Counsel will give an overview of the international legal framework on corruption and the ever-changing environment of risk for multi nationals. In particular he will discuss the key international legal conventions (in particular the OECD and UNCAC conventions) and the increasing use of domestic legislation to extend territorial reach over transnational bribery and corruption. He will also consider the increasing use of innovative legal techniques to hold corporates to account and the role of new actors such as civil society.
