Charitable giving

At Peters & Peters we are particularly keen to help children and young people who have not had the privileges and opportunities we have had ourselves.

Our CSR team is preparing fund raising initiatives over the next year in support of Kids Company including a sponsored triathlon and a raffle. We will also be hosting our popular pub quiz again. Smaller events will take place within the firm including regular charity breakfasts and cake bakes.

We completed a series of successful events to raise funding for badly needed building and improvement works for a school in an extremely poor area of Guatemala.

We organised these with the help and guidance of international child centered development charity, Plan UK

Events included running the sponsored Royal Parks Half Marathon, a raffle and an extremely well attended pub quiz for over 100 members of the Bar.

Projects in 2011

In 2011 we will be concentrating our efforts on the UK. We have partnered with Kids Company, a London based charity which provides practical, emotional and educational support to over 12,000 vulnerable inner-city children and young people. The charity aims to provide a safe and secure environment in which to give these children individually tailored care.
