JSC BTA Bank v Ablyazov Queen's Bench Division (Commercial Court)

BTA Bank (a major state-owned bank in Kazakhstan) has brought claims in the High Court relating to allegations that substantial sums were misappropriated by BTA’s former management.We are acting for a defendant in relation to claims with an aggregate value of over US$2 billion.

The proceedings have been widely reported in the national and international press.
