Peters & Peters are delighted to announce that former Senior Partner and now full time special counsel has been appointed Queens Counsel in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the law .

Monty Raphael was admitted a Solicitor in1962. He was honoured for his long and varied career which included serving as a Deputy Metropolitan Stipendiary Magistrate from 1982 to 1988 and as an Assistant Recorder of the Crown Court from 1989 to 1991.

Recognised as the Doyen of UK business crime lawyers, he has travelled the globe teaching and raising awareness of that subject. He is widely published in books and papers dealing with Fraud, Tax Crime, Money Laundering, Corruption and related matters. He is the author of the recently published Blackstones Guide to the Bribery Act 2010. He is Visiting Professor of Law at the University of Kingston London.
