“This could be a landmark in the prevention and sanctioning of bribery both  private and public, domestic and foreign.  But only if there is a transparent and clearly joined up response by the agencies involved so that businesses know exactly where they stand and civil society can feel confident that this corrosive conduct is at last being tackled.  Like any other crime control measure it cannot be done on the cheap.”
