Anand Doobay, part of the Government’s ‘Financial Court Working Group’

Anand Doobay, Partner in the Business Crime department (on behalf of the Law Society of England and Wales), has been part of this working group following on from the Fraud Review commissioned by the Attorney General and the Chief Secretary to the Treasury. The Working Group has been considering the benefit of establishing a Financial Court, and Anand was appointed because of his particular expertise in Fraud and Financial Crime. The working group was established to consider and report on the cost/benefits of establishing a Financial Court jurisdiction for the High Court of England and Wales.
